Konrad Szymanski

Member, European Parliament


Mr. Szymanski, who was born in Kalisz, Poland, in 1969, is a member of the European Parliament with the Polish Law and Justice Party. He is also a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group (ECR) in the European Parliament.

He is vice chairman of the special committee on the policy challenges and budgetary resources for a sustainable European Union after 2013; a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy; a delegate to the EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan, and EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, and ECR Coordinator in the delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

He also is vice chairman of the Bioethics Intergroup and St. James Intergroup in the European Parliament. He has been pro-life non-government organization's leader and foreign affairs commentator. In parliamentary activity, he concentrates on energy security and EU Eastern Policy portfolios, as well as pro-life and religious freedom issues.
