Mine Yildirim

Ms. Yildirim received her bachelor's degree from Marmara University in International Relations and her master's degree from Leicester University in Human Right and Civil Liberties. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Aabo Akademi, Institute for Human Rights, and a member of the Finnish Graduate School for Human Rights Research.

Her research is on the Collective Dimension of Freedom of Religion or Belief – International Law and the Case of Turkey.

As a member of the Committee on Religious Freedom and Legal Affairs of the Association of Protestant Churches, she has authored and co-authored reports on the situation of Protestants in Turkey from a human rights law perspective.

She writes for Forum 18 on freedom of religion or belief in Turkey. She also has published articles in newspapers and academic journals.
