Anti-Defamation League concerned for the safety of religious minorities in the Middle East

In response to the kidnappings of two Orthodox Christian Syrian bishops during a joint humanitarian mission near the northern Syrian city of Aleppo earlier this year, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is urging all parties to the conflict to ensure the safety of religious minorities in the Middle East. Illinois Senate passes resolution in support of religious freedom for the Ecumenical Patriarchate

The Illinois Senate has recently adopted SR 70, a Religious Freedom resolution in support of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. With the adoption of this resolution, 52 such resolutions have now been adopted by 42 states. Full Text
