6/20/2005 Archons recently launched a frank and informative dialog with European leaders concerning religious freedom for the Ecumenical Patriarchate, while advocating the candidacy of Turkey into the European Union during their Religious Freedom Mission in May. The data and presentations of the Archon delegation to the European Commission, European Council and European Parliament were well-received and constituted the beginning of an exchange between the Order of St. Andrew/Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in America and the European leaders on these matters.
