A lecture, entitled, “The Papacy in Transition and the Future of Orthodox-Catholic Relations,” will be presented by Archon Dr. George Demacopoulos, Thursday, September 19, 2013. Dr. Demacopoulos is a professor of Historical Theology and co-founder of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham University.
The lecture will be held at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10029 (located on 5th avenue and 103rd St.) and is being co-sponsored by the Archons of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey from Archon Districts 1, 2 and 3. A reception will be held at 6:30pm followed by the lecture at 7:30pm. Admission is free.
Attendees will also have access to the exhibit, “Picturing Central Park: Paintings by Janet Ruttenberg.”
This lecture is open to the public.
