Foreign Policy American magazine includes Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew among 500 Most Influential Worldwide

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, leader of 300 million Orthodox Christians world-wide, has been included on the list of the world’s 500 most influential figures, according to Foreign Policy American magazine, widely known for diplomacy and international relations issues.

This year, in its 200th issue, Foreign Policy published a 500 List of public figures who affect the world the most, which it dubbed the “Power Issue.” It includes political leaders, business leaders, billionaires, bank managers, even criminals and terrorists.

No Greek figure is mentioned, except His All-Holiness, who is listed as a Turkish citizen.
