In Memoriam: Presbytera Margaret Orfanakos

Dear Brother Archons,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Presbytera Margaret Orfanakos fell asleep in the Lord yesterday, August 13, 2018, the beloved wife of Fr. John of Blessed Memory and dearest mother of Fr. Peter, George and Kathy and mother-in-law of the Order’s Historian, Archon Prof. George E. Demacopoulos, as well as eight grandchildren. Father John and Presbytera Margaret were known throughout the Archdiocese as the founders of the St. John Chrysostom National Oratorical Festival, as Presbytera Margaret served 33 consecutive years as National Co-Chair bringing to thousands of teenagers across America a very personal, relevant and significant ministry and the Salvific Word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Below is a brief biography of Presbytera Margaret.
