Dear Archon Family Members,
Archon weekend, which will occur on October 18th, 19th and 20th, is rapidly approaching. It is once again my honor, on behalf of the wives of all the Archon National Council members, to invite you to attend the Archon Fellowship Family Luncheon at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th at The NY Hilton Hotel, Rendezvous Trianon Ballroom, 3rd Floor. This luncheon, as the name implies, is a wonderful opportunity to meet new members of the Archon family, as well as visit with old friends. His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios, will be present to break bread with us and share his wisdom and blessings which are always inspirational.
In addition, I am thrilled to inform you that our guest speaker will be Harry A. Radliffe, II, producer of 60 Minutes. Mr. Radliffe was the producer of the monumental piece done on Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew which aired in December 2009, as well as the producer of the 60 Minutes two-part episode on Mount Athos; the episode on the exodus of Christians from the Holy Land and presently the work-in-progress on the persecution of Egyptian Copts. I know his remarks will be thought-provoking and engaging as we get the inside scoop on how these journalistic pieces are researched and produced.
I look forward to greeting each of you personally at this enjoyable event.
