Presented by: Mr. Samer Laham

Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East

We are all too well aware of the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Syria. The humanitarian crisis is truly beyond our comprehension, and its particular impact on religious freedom strikes at the heart of what we as Archons have undertaken as our mission. That is why we hope you can attend this very important event hosted by the Archons of the Regions 1, 2, and 3, along with the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, the Order of Saint Ignatius of Antioch and the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) as the relief agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. We will have with us Mr. Samer Laham, the Director of the Department of Philanthropy of the Patriarchate of Antioch who will be traveling from war-torn Damascus to raise awareness for the conditions of our brethren in the Middle East.

The event will be held at the Museum of the City of New York at 1220 Fifth Avenue on September 29th. Cocktails at 6:30 with the lecture at 7:30. It is free of charge and promises to be an exceptional evening. Please make every effort to attend. RSVP to Christa Pourou cpourou@goarch.org 212-774-0418
