Save The Date: The Annual Archon Weekend, December 12

\"\"

Dear Brother Archons,

Due to the ongoing Covid threat, the Annual Archon Weekend and Annual Meeting of the Order of Saint Andrew will be held as a virtual Zoom one-day event, on Saturday, December 12, 2020. There will be two sessions: the Morning Session will be directed to the newly selected Archon Class of 2020 and the Afternoon Session will comprise our Annual Meeting.  All Archons are invited to attend both sessions.

Our meetings will be virtual and highly engaging. We will hear from our worldwide spiritual father, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and our spiritual father in America, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

The event will focus on our efforts to secure religious freedom for the Mother Church of Constantinople, an issue of particular importance this year after the brazen conversion of Hagia Sophia and the Monastery of Chora to active mosques. We will also welcome the 2020 Class of Archons, elect members to the National Council, approve the 2019 Financial Statement audited by BDO USA, independent auditors, among other important initiatives of the Order. His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros will offer the Trisagion Service for Archons who have fallen asleep in the Lord.

All Archons, together with their spouses, are asked to participate in this intensive and informative Weekend, which will revitalize your personal ministry as a Defender of the Faith.

Additionally, sponsorship opportunities will be forthcoming and a portion of such will be restricted for the exclusive use of the St. Andrew Ecumenical Patriarchal Fund Incorporated.

We hope that you will join us!

In the Service of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,

Anthony J. Limberakis, MD
Archon Aktouarios
National Commander

Zoom registration details will be forthcoming in a future email.
